Day 1: Arrive to Cairo
Upon arrival in Egypt, we will meet our partner at Cairo International
Airport, and we will be transfered to your hotel in a private air
conditioned vehicle.
Day 2: Giza Pyramids / The Egyptian Museum
Our experienced local tour leader will lead us today. He will take you
to start your Giza pyramids tour, we will transfer you to visit the
following historical sites:
• The Great Pyramid was built during the old kingdom 4500 years ago.
• The second Pyramid of King Chephren, the 2nd reigning son of
Cheops, built his pyramid in Giza.
• The third Pyramid of King Mycerinus, which is the smallest royal
pyramid in Giza built for King Mycerinus of the 4th dynasty.
• The Great Sphinx, which stood as a guardian to the whole necropolis,
was carved from one stone 73 meters long in the figure of a lion with a
man’s head, smart like a human, and as strong as the lion.
• We will take a break for a delicious Egyptian lunch and continue our
tour to the Egyptian Museum, which contains the largest collection of
Egyptian antiquities worldwide and the only royal treasure found
intact the Treasures of the golden pharaoh Tutankhamun.
• Optional Tour: you can enjoy one of the most recommended tours in
Giza. Our tour leader will take you to the pyramids to watch a sound
and light show.
• Then, you will be transferred to your Cairo Hotel.
Day 3: Saladin Citadel/ Old Cairo Tours
Our licensed tour guide will take you from your Cairo Hotel to visit:
• We will go to the Citadel of Saladin which used to be the centre of the
Egyptian government for many centuries Include a visit to the Alabaster
mosque of Mohamed Ali, considered a unique reflection of the Ottoman
architecture in Egypt and you will enjoy the Islamic Cairo trips with its
several mosques and Towers.
• We will take a break for a delicious Egyptian lunch and Continue to the
Coptic Cairo tour to visit the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon and the
Hanging Church suspended above its ancient bastions, dedicated to the
Virgin Mary.
• Visit the church of St Sergius with the crypt inside which the holy family
stayed for nearly three months and the spring from which they got their
water supplies.
• Then we will visit Ben Ezra Synagogue said to be the site of the pharaoh’s
palace where the basket of Moses was picked up from the Nile.
• Then, you will be transferred to your Cairo Hotel.
Day 4: Alexandria sightseeing tour
Our tour leader will meet you at the hotel to start the day tour to Alexandria
from Cairo by airconditioned vehicle. You will visit all of these attractions:
• Pompey’s Pillar, constructed in 297 B.C. to celebrate the victory of a
Roman emperor named Diocletian.
• The Catacombs of Kom El Shokkafa, which were discovered as soon as the
20th century began and is considered one of the largest burial Roman
places.
• The Bibliotheca of Alexandria. Which once was the largest in the world.
Located in the city that gives it its name, facing the Mediterranean, it was
founded at the beginning of the 3rd century BC. C. by Ptolemy I.
• Then, you will be transferred to your Cairo Hotel.
Day 5: Sakkara – Memphis – Felucca Ride – Lunch
Our experienced tour leader will meet you in the hotel lobby to be
transferred to:
• Sakkara is truly an open museum, as Saqqara includes most of the
monuments of ancient Egyptian history, as it contains the tombs of kings
and senior officials of the first and second families (about 3040–2686 BC).
• Then we will visit Memphis, a distortion of the name of the pyramid of
Pepi II of Nefer.
• Next, we will head to the Nile River to enjoy your traditional Nile River
Felucca ride in Cairo.
• You’ll be transferred to a roof restaurant with a pyramid view to have a
delicious lunch.
• You will be free and easy, shopping and relax for the day
Day 6: Final departure
Enjoy your buffet breakfast at the hotel before meeting the driver and tour
leader to be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your final
departure.
